Review of SpyKiller by Anti-Spyware-Review.Net:

SpyKiller offers good spyware protection but is not as effective as the very top in our test. The software offers a mixed feature bag that has both bright and rough spots in our tests. Some of the extras came in really nice though and still makes this a good package.

First off the spyware detection abilities had missed some things on first pass. Then when detected some of nastier hijackware required several passes as well. The coverage includes alot of types of Hijackware, Dialers, Adware, Trojans, malware...and really was quite good. Overall after a few passes we were safe from the spyware we installed.

The feature set had very good things like the hompage lock, to prevent hijacking, and the nifty stealth function. The stealth function was a good value alone, it provided good coverage in the background for your computer. Unfortunately the realtime spyware checking missed many activex controls and scripts and really was just blocked some bad websites out...far from satisfactory. This product also features free upgrades

The interface was ok, while needs some refinements we were able to configure everthing with no problems. Setup was a breeze. The documentation was decent if somewhat cryptic in parts, but site FAQs were able to clear up our questions.

Summary:

At $39.97 this package comes in at a good bargain. There were some effectiveness problems in the spyware removal, but multiple passes were able to remedy this and the coverage was still quite good. The
