Review of SpyRemover by Anti-Spyware-Review.Net:

SpyRemover is a simple package that lacks many usefull features and goes for a simple interface and mediocre scanning capabilities. The software missed many types of threats and didn't fair very well especially against the top dogs in this roundup. We had a hard time using the software because we kept coming up with errors and crashing during some scans.

SpyRemover missed some signifigant spyware programs up on our tests and did a below average job of fixing the ones it did find. It didn't find any keyloggers and missed the trojans as well so there are things that this software severly misses when scanning for software. Removal had some serious problems as well, leaving us to beleive that software is not capable of removing some types of spyware that it claims to. Hijackware kept coming back after we had "removed" it from the infected computer.

The feature set was below average for this roundup. This software lacked real-time protection capabilities that the others had. The live-update feature was buggy and crashed on us sometimes. All in all the features were either missing or buggy.

The software was very easy to use and understand though, mostly due to its lack of features. The categories and descriptions were handy ways of displaying the results.

Summary:

SpyRemover is very easy to use but lacked serious abilities at detecting some of the more malicious spyware we threw at it. We don't recommend this software based on its flaws in detecting and removing spyware.
