Review of TZ Spyware-Adware Remover by Anti-Spyware-Review.Net:

TZ Spyware-Adware Remover performed in the lower half of our pack in terms of protection and offered far fewer features than our top performers as well.

TZ didn't detect quite a few spyware programs we through it up against and gave us some false positive results that we verified to be wrong. It kept saying we had cool web search hijackware on our machine even when we didn't have it on there. Some the misses were the more recent hijackware and trojans, but we also noticed some big misses on older iterations of simple adware programs. This left us to wonder about the comprehensiveness of the coverage that this software had advertised. The software kept hanging on heavily infested machines we had tested it on. The real-time protection came out fine, on the brighter side.

The interface was relavtively simple and straightforward however the results were cluttered. There was no grouping of results and no color-coding like the other products had offered. Help and documentation is missing as well. There is only a web form to ask questions or get help with and we didn't get a response within 24 hours of submitting a question.

Summary:

We don't recommend this software as there are cheaper software that have more features and give much better protection. The number of false positives was troubling as were lapses of coverage in older adware programs that should have been detected. The user interface was straightforward and install was easy. But the results were cluttered and not organized like some the better software packages were.
